We recently accepted nominations for an open position on the OKMPA Board of Directors coming available in January 2025.  After carefully reviewing all submissions and conducting interviews with potential candidates, the current Board Members have selected a nominee for the consideration of the Membership.

In accordance with our by-laws, when there is a vacant board seat, the Board of Directors are required to open submissions and present a “slate” of candidates to be voted on by the general membership in a special election. As this special election is to fill only one seat, this slate only includes a single nominee. The following candidate is being presented for your approval.

The voting process will proceed as follows:

If the proposed slate receives a majority vote, the nominee will be elected to the Board.

If the nominee fails to reach a majority vote, the nomination process will restart and a new slate will be presented to the Membership.

Voting will be open to all Members in good standing from December 20th through December 22nd.  A ballot will be emailed to the email address associated with your OKMPA membership on the morning of Friday, December 20th.  Votes submitted past the deadline of Sunday, December 22nd at 11:59 PM CST will not be counted.

Please take a moment to review the attached documents, so you will have an informed vote during the designated time frame.

Thank you for your participation in this important process. Your input is vital to shaping the future leadership of the OKMPA!

    2. If the slate fails to reach a majority, a second round of voting will take place, where members will vote on each candidate individually.
    3. If both nominees fail to reach a majority vote in the individual round, the nomination process will restart, and a new slate of candidates will be presented to the membership.
